Sewing is a hidden talent that I possess. Since I was young, I usually watched my grandmother sew the best table cloths, handkerchief and even clothes that she would give us. Seeing that I was really interested in sewing, she gave me her antique sewing machine. For more than 15 years, this sewing machine has never failed me. There are times when it would give me knots in between threads but besides from this, there was really no problem with operating this machine.

Thanks to this sewing machine, I have always given my friends great gifts during Christmas. Every year, I try to give them something which I have sewn using my sewing machine. I have given them pillow cases, pouch bags, handkerchiefs, belts and scarves. It is actually fun to give something which you personally created. If not for this sewing machine, Christmas time meant searching for gifts and shopping for them. With this around, I am able to create a lovely gift that I give to them. I don’t think that I am ever going to give this up. There are really no right words to express how I feel about sewing my own creations on my lovely sewing machine.
